Day 1: LIMA
We are going on an exciting city tour. We will visit the bohemian district of Barranco, modern Lima with Miraflores as well as the historic center of the Peruvian capital. Night in Lima.
Day 2: LIMA – PARACAS
We leave Lima by the Panamerican South towards Paracas, a small fishing village, where we will stay. After dropping off our suitcases, we will enter the desert where the Paracas National Reserve is located. We will stay there until early afternoon before returning to the hotel. Night in Paracas.
Day 3: BALLESTAS ISLANDS – HUACACHINATearly in the morning, we will embark for the Ballestas Islands, known as the habitat of many birds and the famous Humbolt penguins. At the end of the morning, private transport will take us to Ica with a midday stop at a winery for a meal and a guided tour followed by tasting of local products. We will then go to the famous Oasis of Huacachina, in a magnificent setting, where we will go for a buggy trip in the dunes. Evening meal included.

Day 4: NAZCA This morning, we leave for Nazca, center of the civilization of the same name, at the origin of the famous Nazca Lines which you can fly over as an option. If time permits, we will visit the archaeological site of Cahuachi in the afternoon. In the evening, we will take a night bus which will take us to Arequipa (5* bus on the Panamerican Highway).

Day 5: AREQUIPA
We explore this magnificent city, nicknamed the White City due to its facades built in sillar, a light volcanic rock. On the menu for this visit, the Saint Catherine Convent, a real city within a city with its streets, parks, cloisters. We will also visit Juanita, one of the best preserved mummies in the world, discovered in 1995 at the top of the Ampato Volcano.

Day 6: AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON
We leave early in the morning for Chivay, with a magnificent view of the volcanoes of the cordillera on the road. We will cross the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve where we will have the opportunity to observe flocks of vicuñas. Arriving at the village, located in the middle of green terraces dating back more than 1,500 years, we will have lunch, then continue to the hotel. In the afternoon, if you wish, we will go for a short walk in the countryside with a visit to the UyoUyo ruins and an end of the day in thermal baths.

Day 7: COLCA CANYON – PUNO Rising early, we will first reach the Condor Cross, an excellent observation point over the Canyon, where we will perhaps have the chance to appreciate the flight of the lords of the Peruvian sky. Then, we will follow the Canyon to reach the villages of
Pinchollo and Maca. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Day 8: LAKE TITITCACA
We start the day with a boat trip to the Uros Islands, built entirely out of reeds. We will stop at one of them to learn a little more about the daily life of the populations living in this unique space. We will then continue towards Amantani Island where our host families will come and welcome us at the port to take us to their homes and settle us into our rooms. We will enjoy a meal with our host family then in the afternoon we will go for a walk on the island. Magnificent landscapes, pre-Incan ruins and an excellent introduction to the economic and social life of this “state within a state”.

Day 9: LAKE TITITCACA
We will visit the Island of Taquile, famous
worldwide for its very high quality craftsmanship.
Return to Puno at the end of the afternoon.

Day 10: PUNO – CUSCO
We continue our journey today crossing the Peruvian highlands, thanks to a special bus service which will stop at several sites of interest:
– Pukara, important pre-Inca ceremonial center
– the Col de la Raya at 4,335m.
– Raqchi, where the Temple of Viracocha, the creator god, is located
– Andahuaylillas with the Sistine Chapel of the Andes.

Day 11: CUSCO
In Cusco, we offer several tourist and local activities. Our on-site experience will allow you to experience the city from the inside. So, after the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, you will explore the Temple of the Sun or the Inca Museum, then you will discover the Central Market, while wandering the streets of the Historic Center and the bohemian district of San Blas.

Day 12: CHINCHERO – MORAY – MARAS SALINES
Visit to the Sacred Valley. We start with the weaving village of Chinchero where we will learn a little more about weaving and the wool dyeing technique. We will then continue to the Moray agronomic laboratory before visiting
the Maras salt pans. We will end our day at
Ollantaytambo. Night.
Day 13: MACHU PICCHU
Early in the morning, you take the train to Aguas Calientes, then you will enjoy a guided tour of the Inca citadel, considered a masterpiece of Inca architecture and classified as a World Heritage Site.
Optional: The most courageous can set out to climb the mountain Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu, offering from their summits a magnificent view of this Inca city plunged into oblivion for so long.
You will also have some time to isolate yourself and contemplate this site with the necessary calm. You then go back down towards the station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and the bus to Cusco.

Day 14: CUSCO – LIMA
Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
