Day 1: Santa Cruz

Day 2: Santa Cruz – Samaipata
Today you visit the Inca Fort of Samaipata. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, no one knows exactly the function this pre-Inca site fulfilled. At nearly 1,890 meters above sea level, this site, which marks the meeting point between the end of the Andean foothills and the beginning of the Oriente plains, constitutes the most important rock monument in the Americas. Figures and motifs were carved from a single massive block of reddish rock.
You will then continue to Samaipata, town
having been taken by the army pursuing Che Guevara

Day 3: Samaipta – Valle Grande – La Higuera
Departure through a Cactus Desert to Valle Grande, an old picturesque town with traditional colonial architecture where you can visit several places linked to Che Guevara: the laundry room “lavanderia” of the hospital where his body was exposed to the public , the museum and the memorial.
Then, you take the road again to La Higuera, a town where after an eventful life as a revolutionary guerrilla, Ernesto “Guevara,” known as “Ché,” was killed by the Bolivian army in 1967.

Day 4: La Higuera Today you visit several places closely linked to the history of Che Guevara. You will discover the school where Che was imprisoned and which is today a small museum. You will walk towards Quebrada del Churo, place of the last resistance where the famous revolutionary was captured.

Day 5: La Higuera – Sucre
Day of transition and change of scenery today since you will travel in 7 hours from the village which marked the end of Che’s history to the colonial city of Sucre.
On the way we will stop at the village of Tarabuco known for its market and its Yampara culture.

Day 6: Sugar
Day dedicated to the discovery of the woman who was the instigator of the revolution for the independence of South America at the beginning of the 18th century. This magnificent colonial city, named after General Antonio Jose de Sucre, is very relaxing and enjoys, at 2,500m, a pleasant climate. During your stay in Sucre, you will be accompanied by Gabriel, a French-speaking guide.

Day 7: Sucre – Potosi Today you take the road to mining Potosi where we will arrive in the middle of the day.
In the afternoon, you will discover the historic center and the main buildings of this city which played a vital role during the time of the Spanish crown.

Day 8: Potosi – Tarija
In the morning we will finish visiting Potosi before taking the road to Tarija also known as “La ciudad de las flores” and renowned for its most pleasant climate.
Tarija is THE wine producing city in Bolivia. The ideal time of your trip to taste a good bottle!

Day 9: Tarija – Wine Route
Today we will learn a little more about one of the region’s flagship products by setting off on the Tarija wine route.
We will end our oenological discoveries with an excellent meal before heading towards our next stage: the Valley of the Condors trek.

Day 10: Condor Valley Trek This morning around 8 a.m. after a buffet breakfast at the farm
we leave for our first day of walking. After 4 hours of effort all uphill we will arrive on one of the high plateaus of the region where we will set up our camp.
After a moment of break and a good picnic, we will begin a walk in the afternoon in the surroundings of our bivouac towards the cliffs where the lords of the Andean sky live.
We will return at the end of the day to our base camp to have our dinner by the fire and spend the night there.

Day 11: Condor Valley Trek This morning we will get up early to enjoy the sunrise
on the Andes, an incredible spectacle to see at least once in your life. We will then have breakfast and stay for a while at our bivouac before starting our return to our farm inn. The path back down from the high plateau will be different from the one taken on the way out. We will pass through areas of denser vegetation, “Yungas” vegetation with gorges and wet river banks, a very beautiful waterfall called “El Chorro” and undergrowth vegetation composed of bamboo, ferns, giant lianas and bromeliads clinging to the cliffs.
After a good midday meal at our farm inn our transport will take you back to Tarija.

Day 12: Tarija – Tupiza Today’s stage will take us from Tarija to Tupiza at the gates of South Lipez.
A long day of driving awaits us but we will be able to break it up with several stops and visits. The landscape will be splendid throughout our journey.
We will notably discover the lagoons of Tajzara and the sand dunes of Sama.

Day 13: Tupiza – Uyuni – Sud Lipez – La Paz We begin a trip in a private 4×4 for 4 days in
extraordinary regions, the largest salt desert in the world
to the colorful hills of South Lipez.
We will cross unique landscapes that will remain engraved in your memory.
Having our own vehicle, we will have the leisure to stop wherever we want and for the duration we want. During this trip, we will strive to offer you the best possible comfort, whether on the road or in our accommodation. ‘stage.
