Guizhou is one of the must-see destinations during a trip to China. It is full of authentic landscapes. Indeed, this province is, for the most part, made up of mountains and hills. It is also among the largest karst relief regions in the world. Apart from that, this territory contains waterfalls, valleys, mountains, stone forests, lakes, thermal springs and karst caves. Except for these natural heritages, the province of Guizhou has breathtaking cultural riches. It is full of picturesque monuments emanating from its long history. There is, for example, the Blue Dragon Cave in Zhengyuan. This is located in Zhonghe Mountain. In addition to being a cave, it is an ancient complex that includes 32 buildings. Furthermore, this site is a sacred place for three Chinese religions, including Buddhism, Taoism and Confuciasm. The latter each have their temple in the mountain, notably the Buddhist cave of Zhongyuan, the Confucian cave of Ziyang and the Taoist palace of longevity.

The canyons of the Maling River, a marvel to discover

During trips to China, adventurers will be delighted when exploring the canyons of the Maling River. These canyons are located on the Guizhou and Yunnan plateau. They extend over an area of 450 km². These gorges are approximately 74.8 km long, with an average depth and width of 200 to 400 m. During a hike on this site, globetrotters will discover numerous karst caves, ridges and peaks. Apart from these geological formations, they will observe more than a hundred waterfalls. Among the latter, the Pearl Falls are surprising. These are over 100m high. Admire the beauty of Guizhou Dragon Palace

The Dragon Palace in Guizhou is one of the natural wonders to explore during a trip to China. It is located 116 km from the city of Guiyang. This place is made up of several karst caves, waterfalls and rivers. During a walk in this site, tourists will visit, for example, the main cave called the Dragon Cave. It measures 844 m long. At the entrance, globetrotters will admire a 50 m high waterfall. This waterfall comes from a mountain lake located near the cave. Then, inside, adventurers will discover five rooms, including the Dragon Reception Room, the Dragon Gorge, the Five Dragons Room, the Well Room, and the Three Gorges Room. Lighting is installed to highlight the limestone structure of this place. In addition, backpackers can explore these wonders on foot or aboard a canoe.
