Introduce yourself, tell us about your country and present your journey in tourism.
My name is Omid and I was born in Tehran, Iran.
From a young age I began to travel and discover the great diversity of my country: Iran.
Much later, during organized trips to Iran, during which I worked as a tourist guide for European travelers, I became aware of the great diversity that Iran offers. In Iran, I felt like I was traveling to several countries within one. This multiple richness of my country makes me discover different peoples, histories, cultures and natures: from high peaks to lunar landscapes through the splendid deserts.
This diversity enriches me and makes me want to discover more: in Europe this time and particularly in France where I am going to study. I obtained a Master's degree in Tourism Management and I learned French and perfected my English while traveling most of the countries of Western Europe.
Several years later I returned to Iran to become responsible for the French-speaking part of a receptive agency that I developed thanks to my university and field experiences. I advise, create and guide tailor-made trips for French-speaking tourists: from tours focused on cultural heritage to treks in mountain ranges.
