Day 1: Paris – Tehran Arrival in Tehran.

Day 2: Tehran

City tour: archaeological museum (national museum), glass and ceramics museum (Abgineh), Golestan Palace and the Bazaar.
Night at the hotel.

Day 3: Tehran – Kachan

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Kachan oasis, an important stop on the Silk Road where Sialk Hill is located. Archaeologist R. Grishman discovered remains dating from the 4th millennium BC. Visit to Kachan: Fin garden (17th century). The House of Boroujerdi-Ha with its refined architecture is an example of the art of living of 19th century traders. Agha Bozorg Mosque and its Koranic school from the Qajar era on two floors, simple and sober.

Day 4: Kachan – Nain – Anarak – Mesr Desert – Farahzad Village

Departure from Kachan to the Mesr desert and the village of Farahzad. Passage through the towns of Anarak and Jandagh and Chupanan. You will also visit the Friday Mosque in the city of Nain, the oldest in Iran.
Overnight in a local house in the middle of the desert in the village of Farahzad.

Day 5: The desert of Mesr

Camel trek in the desert towards the villages of Arusan and Mohammad Abad Kureh Gaz in the province of Isfahan.
Night in a camp in the middle of the desert.

Day 7: The desert – Ardakan – Meybod – Yazd

Departure by car towards the city of Yazd passing through Chupanan village and the towns of Ardakān and Meybod.
Stop at Meybod and visit the Sassanid citadel.
End of the journey to Yazd and overnight at the hotel in Yazd.

Day 8: Yazd

After breakfast, explore the city. The city of Yazd is also called the city of towers of the wind.
Visits: Friday Mosque whose portal, decorated with small colorful earthenware mosaics, is the largest in the country, Dowlat Abad Garden and its Persian-style pavilion. Discovery of the Fire Temple, the most important Zoroastrian fire temple where the sacred fire has been burning for 1500 years, the Towers of Silence, located at the highest point of the hills.

Day 9: Yazd – Kerman 

Departure for the city of Kerman via Rafsanjan. Along the way, discovery of pistachio fields (depending on the season).
Visit the city located at an altitude of 1850 m: the Vakil bazaar, the tea houses, the Gandj Ali khan caravan complex, the mosques.
Night at the hotel.

 

Day 10: Kerman – Shiraz

Visit the mosque on Friday in Kerman and departure for the city of Shiraz. First visit to the city which is that of poetry. Visit the Hafez mausoleum, Nasir-al-Molk mosque and the Vakil Bazaar built under Karim Khan Zend.
Free time and night at the hotel in Shiraz.

Day 11: Shiraz – Persepolis – Shiraz

Excursion to Persepolis, located 60 km from Shiraz. This site was built under Darius the Great in 521-486 BC. AD Discovery of Naqsh-e-Rostam, the necropolis of the 4 Achaemenid kings and Naqsh-é-Rajab.
In the afternoon, continue exploring Shiraz with your guide.

Day 12: Shiraz – Isfahan

Departure for Isfahan and visit Pasargadae on the road to Isfahan. This is the tomb of Cyrus the Great, founder of the Achaemenid Empire (500 years BC) which is also the oldest historical tomb with remarkable architecture. Cyrus the Great’s courageous personality earned him international fame.
Afternoon: visit the Jolfa district and the Cathedral of Saint Sauveur. You will also discover the bridges of Isfahan: Khaju Bridge, Thirty Three Arches Bridge – Si-o-Se-Pol.

Day 13: Isfahan

Visit the Friday Mosque, the Palace of 40 Columns, the Royal Place, lined and ordered with buildings: Ali-Qapu palace, Imam mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque without forgetting the very vast, rich and colorful bazaar.

Day 14: Isfahan – Abyaneh – Qom – Tehran (approx. 400 km)

Departure for the centuries-old village of Abyaneh located on the mountainside. Visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and walk in the village until the evening. Then, departure by road for Tehran, stopover en route in Qom, to discover the mausoleum of Fatima Maasoumah.
Night in Tehran.

Day 15: Tehran – Paris

Morning transfer to Tehran airport and return to Paris.
