Day 1: Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Airport reception.
Transfer and installation at the hotel. Breakfast. Rest.
Visit to the capital. Lunch and dinner in town. Night at the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana (350 km)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Kokand. On the road crossing the “Kamtchik” pass (2400 m) allowing a magnificent view of the Celestial Mountains (Tian Chian).
Arrival in Kokand around noon. Lunch in the city. Visit to Kokand.
Continuation of the road towards Fergana. Arrival and installation at the hotel.
Day 3: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Fergana
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Margilan. We will visit the town of Margilan and the “Yodgorlik” factory where ikat silks are woven in the traditional way. Return to Fergana.
Visit to the Fergana market which is the most spectacular in the region. Market shopping to prepare the national dish “Plov-rice pilaf”. Arrival at a Chaykhana for the preparation of the dish and lunch there.
Chaykhana – tea house is generally a public place of relaxation in which one can drink tea and eat. It is very common in Central Asia, Iran, China and Türkiye. In Central Asia chaykhanas are very popular due to the warm climate. In chaykhanas in Uzbekistan the following dishes are offered: plov, qozon kabob, samsa and lagman. Sweet or savory pastries and cakes are also offered.
In the chaykhanas of the Fergana valley you can come at midday with your provisions and prepare meals and eat on site.
Afternoon visit to the regional museum and the city park.
Dinner in town and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Fergana – Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Tashkent. On the road, visit the ceramist workshop in Rishtan. Lunch en route in a “Tchaykhana” (tea house). Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel.
Day 5: Tashkent – Nukus
Breakfast and transfer to the airport and flight to Nukus. Arrival and installation at the hotel.
Nukus – capital of the Autonomous Republic of Karakalpastan, administrative, economic and cultural center.
Visit the Savitsky Museum which is the second in number and quality of works by Russian avant-garde artists after that of the Russian Museum (St-Petersburg, Russia), and one of the best in Central Asia.
Lunch.
Afternoon visit the Nukus market and we go shopping to prepare the typical dish of the region “Besbarmak”. Return to the hotel and we can participate in the preparation of the national dish. Dinner.
Day 6: Nukus – Ayaz Kala – Khiva
Transfer to Khiva through the Kyzylkum desert. Visits to the Ayaz-kala and Touprak-kala sites.
On the territory of the Ellikkala district (Republic of Karakalpakstan) there are more than two hundred ancient fortresses, the most famous of which are Ayaz-kala or Touprak-kala. The ingenuity and dimensions of these constructions bring them closer to the Egyptian pyramids. Throughout the territory of ancient Khârezm, more than 1,000 ancient fortresses have been found, most of which have not yet been studied. Arrival and installation at the hotel.
Day 7: Khiva
Town tour. It offers its visitors a thousand years of living history. Lunch with the locals.
In the afternoon, visit the Khiva market to buy provisions for the preparation of the typical dish of the region “Shivite oshi”. You can participate in the preparation of the dish. Dinner with locals.
Day 8: Khiva – Bukhara (480 km)
Breakfast departure for Bukhara. Crossing the Kisil Koum desert (Red Sands). Picnic on the way. Arrival late in the afternoon. Installation in hotel.
First discovery of the city; the Labi Khause ensemble: Koukaldach 16th century madrassa, Nadir Devan Beghi 17th century madrassa and khanaka.
Dinner at the Labi Khause chaykhana.
Day 9: Bukhara – The Holy
Visit to the Ark (the citadel) 1st-4th century, the whole of Poï-Kalian 15th-16th century, Kosh madrasa of Oulougbek and Abdoulaziz Khan 15th-17th century, the whole of Liabi-Khaouz 16th-17th century.
In the afternoon, visit the city market to buy fresh provisions for the preparation of the regional dish “Qovurma lag’man”. We participate in the preparation of the dish.
Dinner with locals.
Day 10: Bukhara – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand
Departure for Samarkand and on the road visit the town of Shakhrisabz, birthplace of Timourbeg (Tamerlane). Visit the remains of the White Palace, Timur’s summer residence, Darut Saodat ensemble, mausoleum of Timur’s descendants and Darut Tilovat ensemble with the Kok Goumbaz mosque, Shakhrisabz Friday mosque. Lunch with locals and departure to Samarkand.
Arrival in Samarkand late in the afternoon. Installation at the hotel. Dinner in town.
Day 11: Samarkand “The Magnificent”
Day dedicated to visiting Samarkand. Lunch in a typical restaurant in Samarkand to taste the meat skewers. We will offer you beef, lamb, pork skewers and minced meat skewers (kofta) which are flavored with many spices which make them deliciously tasty .
Continuation of the visit to Samarkand. In the evening visit a winery in Samarkand and taste the wines of the region. Founded in 1868 by a Russian merchant Dmitry Filatov, the wines of this winery have been rewarded with gold and silver medals in major competitions international centers in Paris and Antwerpen. Since then, wines and cognacs have received 36 awards and medals. Dinner in town.
Day 12: Samarkand – Tashkent
Continuation of the visit to Samarkand. Lunch and transfer to the station and departure at 5:00 p.m. to Tashkent by “Afrosiab” TGV (320 km). Arrival and installation at the hotel. Dinner in town and overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Tashkent
Continuation of the visit to Tashkent: the museum of decorative arts and the Abdoul Kassim XIX ss madrassa, museum of the history of the Uzbek people. Lunch and dinner in town.

Day 14: Tashkent – Europe
